The Clown Animatic
INT. THE CLOWN'S TRAILER – NIGHT
THE CLOWN beats ALBERT (male, mid-30s) against the wall of his trailer.
Bottles of The Clown's hallucinogenic chemicals fall from the counter, smashing to the floor.
Vapors waft around the men. As they expand, cartoonish Clown heads swirl around, laughing.
Everything turns into a cartoon, including The Clown and Albert.
The Clown looks to a finger on Albert's hand. It sparkles with radiance.
He throws Albert onto a table and stabs for the finger. Albert dodges his hand back and forth. The Clown cuts off every finger but the one he’s aiming for.
Annoyed, The Clown stabs his knife into one of Albert's big, cartoonish eyes. Albert screams.
The Clown draws his weapon back, pulling the eyeball out as it’s stuck to the tip of his knife. The optic nerve remains attached between the eyeball and Albert's eye socket.
The Clown, holding the eyeball, wraps the optic nerve around Albert's throat and strangles him. The eyeball rips off the nerve.
Albert runs. The Clown pitches the eyeball like a baseball and knocks Albert down.
Albert, on the ground, grabs a bottle of chemicals and throws it at The Clown. The bottle bounces off The Clown's belly and smashes into Albert's face. It's acid!
Albert's face melts as he screams.
The Clown kneels over Albert and stabs him. A small geyser of red blood shoots out of the hole.
Albert uses a finger to plug the geyser but The Clown stabs him again. Albert frantically tries to plug each geyser of blood but there are too many as The Clown keeps stabbing.
Albert lets out a croak and dies, his tongue hanging from his mouth.
The Clown, looking lovestruck, stares at Albert's hand.
The Clown cuts off Albert’s finger and stares at it joyfully.
A circular pattern frames The Clown, similar to a Warner Brothers-style ending. The wording ‘DEAD BY DAYLIGHT’ and ‘That’s a Cut’ is written across the frame.
