There's a lot of conflict between Project T characters. They don't trust each other but they have to work together.
Virgil/Layla Dialogue
Virgil: I just wanted a simple life in the bayou.
Layla: Things kind of got out of hand, hey?
Virgil: We're damnin' monsters to someplace called the Void, so yeah… I'd say so.
Layla: Be a good story when we get back though.
Virgil: They're gonna lock us away, ain't they?
Layla: It'll be straitjackets from then on out.

Jacky/Willa Dialogue
Jacky: Remember what I told you about this mechanical stuff?
Willa: I do not need your help.
Jacky: Just making sure when we say, "get a motor," you don't come back with a shovel.
Willa: How dare you! You do not know your head from an abraxas stone!
Jacky: Whoa, okay... last time I try to help you.
(Designer Note: Willa is a teenaged Hungarian cultist from the 15th century, making her a 'fish out of water' when speaking with modern-day characters.)

Layla: This Void stuff goes against all science.
Jacky: That's what you're worried about?
Layla: Conservation of energy and all... the Void doesn't follow that.
Jacky: You get possessed by a smart person or something?

Virgil: All this killin'… what's The Entity gain from this?
Dwight: Maybe it just likes seeing what we lose.
